When BMW reentered Formula One in 1980, it turned to Bosch to develop the world's first completely digital engine control unit. With race wins and world championship achieved in quick succession, the MP1.1 immediately established the technology as the future of engine control. The MS 6 Family of ECUs is the state-of-the art solution for engine management in professional motorsport. The MS6's high-speed, high accuracy hardware supports onboard lambda, EGT and manual gear control - no extra boxes required. The accuracy and reliability of critical functions such as torque management, traction control, boost control and paddle shift are completely uncompromised. Sometimes, more really is more.
