Adelaide Jamboree 2023 Competition Terms & Conditions

 

 

1. Information on how to enter forms part of the Conditions of Entry. Entry into this Promotion is deemed to be an acceptance of all Conditions of Entry

 

2. The Promotion commences on Wednesday, 25th^th October 2023, 1:00 PM (AEST) and concludes at 1:00 PM (AEST) Wednesday 1^st November 2023 (Promotional Period)

 

3. Entry is open to the general public who submit a valid entry within the Promotional Period in accordance with these Conditions of Entry. Limit one entry per person

 

4. To be eligible to enter, entrants must:
   1. Comment in 25 words or less on “what makes drag racing so special to you!” in the comment section of social media post.
   2. Follow Bosch Motorsport Australia Facebook or Instagram.
   3. Tag one or more friends in the comments of the social media post.  
   4. All entries must be posted before 1:00 PM (AEST) on Wednesday 1^st November 2023
   5. Participants must act in accordance with the Facebook Statement of Rights and Responsibilities, which can be viewed at https://www.facebook.com/legal/terms/previous
   6. Participants must act in accordance with Instagram’s Terms and Polices, which can be viewed at https://help.instagram.com/581066165581870/?helpref=hc_fnav

 

5. The three (3) entrants with the best answers to the question “what makes drag racing so special” will receive two (2) general admission tickets for Adelaide Jamboree 2023, valued at $90 AUD.

 

6. All entries become the property of the Promoter. All entrants agree to allow their entries, their entry submissions and Facebook profile names, to be published on the Bosch Motorsport Australia Facebook page, by the Promoter in the Promoter’s sole discretion, during and after the Promotional Period

 

7. Standard browsing charges apply, where applicable, in accessing the internet

 

8. The winning entries will be judged by representatives of the Promoter on Wednesday 1^st November 2023, at 2:30 PM AEST. Chance plays no part in determining the winners

 

9. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of all entries and to disqualify any entrant who interferes with or fails to comply with the correct entry process, or who submits an entry which is not in accordance with these Conditions of Entry

 

10. Entries will be deemed to be accepted at the time of receipt. Incomplete or incomprehensible entries will be deemed invalid. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any entries that are lost, late, misdirected or not received by the Promoter within the Promotional Period or for any delays in the delivery of entries due to technical disruptions or for any other reason

 

11. The prize must be taken as offered and cannot be varied or taken as cash. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the value of any prize.  Any operating, repair or other ancillary costs associated with redeeming a prize are the sole responsibility of each winner

 

12. The winner will be notified by a direct message on social media (Facebook or Instagram). The winner’s name will also be published on the Bosch Motorsport Australia Facebook and Instagram page

 

13. If the winner cannot be contacted within 24 hours after the initial competition judging, the winner will forfeit the prize and the Promoter reserves its right to award that prize to the second correct entry

 

14. Winners will be emailed electronic tickets, to be printed and shown at the Gate upon entry to Adelaide Jamboree 2023 at Shell V-Power Motorsport Park at The Bend, Dukes Highway, Tailem Bend SA. Gates open from 8:00AM Sat. 4^th November. 

 

15. The Promoter’s decision in relation to any aspect of the Promotion is final and binding on every person who enters, and no correspondence will be entered into. Entries containing offensive or defamatory comments or images, or which breach any law or infringe any third-party rights, including intellectual property rights, are not eligible to win (and will be removed from the Bosch Motorsport Australia Facebook page and Instagram page)

 

16. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered or sustained (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss or for any personal injury or property damage) in connection with this Promotion or any prizes awarded in the course of this Promotion, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law

 

17. The Promoter and its officers, employees and agents will not be responsible for any incorrect, inaccurate or incomplete information received or not received in the course of or in connection with this Promotion if the deficiency is occasioned by any cause outside the Promoter’s reasonable control including but not limited to technical malfunctions or failures.

 

18. The Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who the Promoter has reason to believe has breached these Conditions of Entry or engaged in any unlawful or improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the Promotion. The Promoter’s legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved

 

19. The Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to amend any element of this competition including duration of the promotional period

 

20. If for any reason this Promotion is not capable of running as planned, including due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter, which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness or integrity or proper conduct of this Promotion, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to suspend, cancel, terminate or modify or recommence the Promotion, subject to the approval of any relevant regulatory authority

 

21. At the request of the Promoter, the winner agrees (without charge) to participate in any promotional activities planned by the Promoter and consents to their name, image and winning entry being used in the Promoter’s marketing materials

 

22. This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook or Instagram.  Entrants are providing their information to the Promoter and not to Facebook or Instagram.  Each entrant completely releases Facebook and Instagram from all liability

 

23. The Promoter may collect personal information about entrants to enable entrants to participate in this Promotion.  If personal information is not provided, the entrant may not be able to participate in/be a winner of this Promotion.  By entering this Promotion, entrants agree that: (1) the Promoter may disclose personal information to its related bodies corporate, contractors and agents for the purpose of assisting in the conduct of this Promotion; and (2) the Promoter and its related bodies corporate may retain and use personal information for future marketing purposes in relation to its products, services and offers, including sending SMS messages and emails
